We have already thought back and forth, but even if the shower toilet might be more comfortable, we would first like to try to accommodate the bidet. If it really doesn’t work, the shower toilet is back in the running. There are also some with only the "basic functions" that might be more suitable.

Hm, with 4 the toilet/bidet stand somewhat open in the room and I fear for the accessibility of the window handles. With 3 the bathtub would be on the bedroom wall, which is probably optimal regarding noise disturbance. I will take a closer look at that.

P.S. In case you have (completely) other suggestions, always feel free to send them!

Best regards,

I quickly reconstructed the draft from #4 in the planner, looks pretty okay:

Bidet + WC are now on a 140cm wall, probably quite tight overall. If necessary, one could still extend the partition/shower tray by 10-20cm, although that's actually unnecessary because of the door o_O

Agreement, visually okay, but too tight regarding WC/Bidet! 30cm + Bidet 40cm + Distance 30cm + WC 40cm = 140cm. 10 or 20cm extra would then be the "distance" from the WC to the end of the half-high wall. How this looks visually, I can’t assess without a photo montage. But the wall becomes really unnecessarily long. You have enough freedom of movement to the right of the WC (when sitting on it), how wide is the passage to the shower? I would put the WC by the window, you sit on the toilet longer and by the window you’re more to yourself. Consider whether you appreciate the advantages of the bidet (we had one for a long time and found it practical for quickly washing feet or soaking/washing out swimsuits, otherwise I can’t think of any advantage). A shower toilet is much more comfortable to sit on and offers various more comfortable washing options; we were able to try it in the bathroom showroom in the customer WC and were convinced afterward. Regarding the price: we never missed the blow dryer function, the basic version is okay.

I really like option 2 because the toilet and bidet are so nicely "invisible" behind the bathtub. You don't necessarily have to hide them, but if you have so much space, I think that's a very nice solution.

I would like draft no. 4 from the original designs the best. You still have a second window, so you don't have to use the window above the tub that often. I wouldn't like no. 2; I don't want to sit on the toilet with my back to the door. I would also like the design from post 4. I don't think it will be too tight. You can just try it out. If necessary, extend the wall by 10 cm.

I also really like the design from Beitrag 4. All the windows are easily accessible and yet the room has structure.
