Attached is the requested site plan. As you can see, it is a somewhat older development area, in which one plot is still undeveloped, which is what this is about. The plots are accessed from the east via the sidewalk. The L-shaped neighboring houses to the east are single-story bungalows. Directly to the south is a row of terraced houses with 12x6m modules. The neighboring house to the north is an architect-designed house in the Bauhaus style, which is being extended. To the east, the next development is only after about 500m. In between, there is a street and a parking/green area.
Regarding the budget question: for the overall project (house construction, ancillary building costs, kitchen, bathroom, outdoor facilities, etc.) up to 800,000 euros are currently planned.
On the ground floor, the shower for the permanent guest is missing; depending on the guest, I would even consider an en-suite solution. The dining area seems a bit displaced to me, somewhat in front of the window. Storage space in the kitchen could become tight without a pantry. The bathroom on the upper floor is only large, with useless central space; it could be designed better.

The dining area feels a bit misplaced to me, half in front of the window. Storage space in the kitchen could get tight without a pantry.
The bathroom on the upper floor is just large, useless middle space, it could be designed nicer.
The guest room on the ground floor will rather be an office, and for that purpose, the bedroom in the basement will be the guest room for an actual regular family guest. That is why there is no shower on the ground floor but a bathroom is planned in the basement.
The bathroom on the upper floor has indeed not yet been planned in detail. Unfortunately, we haven't gotten that far yet.
In the kitchen, the seating option at the cooking island will be omitted in favor of storage space. A pantry is planned in the basement.
In my original post, I had been pondering the bedroom with the walk-in closet. Now I have received another solution, where the walk-in closet is somewhat larger and has a daylight window, and the L-shape of the bedroom is omitted in favor of a rectangular room shape.
