Hello,

I have been reading along here. My question: What does the system planner say about the mentioned problems.

I would advise against tinkering on the professional level if you are not absolutely confident.
A friend lost warranty and guarantee because of that.

That is completely normal and typical for air heat pumps from -4°C to about +5°C. However, defrost energy is loss energy that is lost to the heating process. Therefore, the air heat pump should not be oversized and should be able to modulate.

Best regards

The architect is now also critical and the installer regularly checks it... I currently have no calculations etc. as a basis, if the architect.... I don’t fiddle around with the extras of the system, I just check in regularly now and take photos of the values... the air source heat pump has 7KW (Weishaupt), whether oversized or modulating? don’t know.

Hello,
it is certainly sensible that the respective provider also assumes the contractual liability for the expected consumption costs.
How this is legally divided here is absolutely unclear!
Either the architect, see contract, or the system builder. Your problem!

Regards.

Do you think you will get anywhere with that attitude? You could have had the design calculation presented to you a long time ago. What good does it do if the architect tells you that he is "also now critical" and the installer checks regularly? That’s a joke. What you need are written demands for rectification or proof of correct planning and execution with deadline setting and so on. What you don’t need is access to the installer level and self-documented values. Not your job! Or do you have too much time and too much money?

Current status:

So, the "project" has been completed, except for minor details in the next few weeks and months everything seems to be working so far.
The heating now runs decoupled and hidden on the garage (quiet and hardly any vibrations felt in the house anymore), we have had hot water for a few days now (previously only warm), the consumption has stabilized after heating up, balancing of the heating circuits, etc. at the current "moderate" temperatures at 4-10KW per day, also recorded daily, documents are mostly complete (heat demand determination, heat load calculation, various KfW and energy saving ordinance proofs, hydraulic balancing, blower-door test, etc.)
The controlled residential ventilation still needs to be readjusted (control defective, one heat recovery does not work, zones are being switched), I'll report on that later as well.

So far we can live with that for now and have moved into the new house!

The next winter is therefore awaited in this regard and then we will see if it keeps its promise (icing, consumption).

I can gladly update here again in winter or in the meantime if there is interest.
