Certainly not: I also don't want rooms without south and west sun.
But I usually don't mention this anymore because orientation is the first thing you should consider (before buying the property) – before any dimensions take shape. So pencil sketches...
Therefore, I assume the questioner is aware of the orientation.

No idea. For example, we deliberately oriented our living-dining room to the northeast. On the south side we do have a patio door, but it is shaded by the overhanging roof. We previously had a southwest side and cursed it in the summer because we only sat in dark rooms since the shutters were down all day. Not to forget our cursed west window, where the low sun literally dazzled us during dinner. Now we quietly laugh to ourselves. While all around the shutters go down on hot sunny days, we sit in our living room with shutters up and daylight. We often even have our window open on the north side, where a nice gentle breeze always blows.

Hehe, that scares me: on hot sunny days we sit on the terrace as often as possible, rarely inside. Most daily business is moved outside or postponed to bad weather. The windows are always open... and yes: the heat comes in, but it is also nice when it gets cooler and we go inside.

A good mix is always good, but WC and utility room on the chocolate sides???
The house is well countered along its center line (I think, from memory, even on both axes), certainly to place the garage on the southeast side so that short paths to the entrance are guaranteed. Rotating would also be an option...

: that was also one of our considerations. We're not really sun worshippers. We hadn't even thought about planning the carport somewhere else. It’s already difficult to turn our cars on the small area. Wouldn't that block up the garden for us?

Oh dear. The two of us fill half the table while eating, and with four people plus guests, the whole table of 1.80 x 90 is full. My neighbor, single, built her house around a 3-meter table. But 0.6 x 1.20: I don’t understand that, even if I consider that not everyone enjoys cooking and serving as much as I or others do. The bowls have to go somewhere, and with 2 x 28 cm plates on 60 cm... And preferences can change, too. Then there are decorative items at the other end of the table, possibly the child doing homework, children’s drawings, hobby/crafts, or the laptop... all the things that get pushed to the edge. And constantly moving the table in the living room, no one wants to do that in the long run! To avoid such hassle, you build, right?! I understand rearranging for a one-time celebration, but not for everyday space needs. A reasonable dining area must exist—just like space for a double bed in the bedroom. Even if it’s only because of the resale value.
