with / without central ventilation system experiences

the problem with the air in the house is simply that houses today are very airtight, we have about 260 sqm, of which 200 sqm are lived in, it is really annoying to ventilate daily, we have one prepared, the system will follow sometime :-) ....

A friend once built a duplex with his mother-in-law, he with controlled living space ventilation, she simply didn’t want one ....... after a few years she regretted it and definitely wanted one :)

Luxury is the wrong word. Quality of life, in my opinion, fits better.

By the way, ours usually runs at medium level and is NOT audible except for a single valve (which I need to adjust).

What system do you have, or which manufacturer? Do you also have ventilation in the basement?

How does it work with the ceiling height if the pipes for the system are installed in the screed or under the ceiling? Doesn't that take up a lot of ceiling height?

How does it work with the room height when you install the pipes for the system in the screed or under the ceiling? Doesn't that significantly reduce the room height?

You obviously have to take that into account in the planning beforehand. However, nothing really changed for us because the flat ducts simply disappeared under the screed at the level of the other pipes, etc...
