Please provide at least a double socket (2x LAN) here, preferably two of them (PC, printer, plus as a reserve for other network-capable devices). One LAN is really too little. Even for cost reasons, it is hardly justifiable, it's just nicer otherwise ;) Better also LAN at other relevant locations. Is there an electrical plan you would like to upload?

Unfortunately, I don’t have an electrical plan yet, the project is being realized by the developer.

Stupid question...

Why do I need so many LAN sockets when I have the access points? They're supposed to close exactly that gap... I actually wanted as few network sockets as possible, that's why the access points.

Because cables are always better than wireless and you may not be able to foresee where which device will be in the future. Wireless only for mobile devices if possible, everything else cable.

You can just install fiber optic cable right away - clear surcharge, future-proof basis.

We're talking about a single-family house here. Sure, as a nerd (and I am one) you could install fiber optic cable. But for the OP, it still doesn't make sense ;) She should rather focus on seeing APs not as a replacement but as a complement to the LAN. Besides, copper has to be installed anyway, unless I've missed recent developments in "POE over fiber optic cable"?

Would recommend taking LAN sockets everywhere where there could potentially be a computer/notebook as well as a TV. I'm not a tech nerd, but I have LAN sockets in the study, living room, bedroom, and both children's rooms. Additionally, an access point is planned on each floor. I think this should be sufficient equipment for the average person.
