If a layperson takes on the task of a professional, they have to expect that some things won't be done properly. Then you also can't be offended if a neutral person points out one or two mistakes. I assumed that the planner of your house-building company accommodated your lighting wishes and quickly or half-heartedly arranged two symmetrical windows there.

Be that as it may... I don't think I can help you, I question too much because I notice a few things... and I only see 2 rooms... and you feel offended because you put in the effort.

Best regards, Yvonne

P.s. Effort alone is often not enough.

No, I'm actually glad about suggestions. I just don't understand why I should remove one of the two windows that let light in towards the dining table. I do need light there. The one behind the couch, ok maybe not optimal, but also not disturbing. A window facing true north would give me much less light. Or am I basically misunderstanding something here.

Would completely roof over. More beautiful roof and lots of space. But additionally plan a window on the right...

Hmm another opinion again,
I'm getting all dizzy,
Don't you think it's too dark?

A large window in the front, one on the right side. We have it like that too, all good!

But that's north, not much light comes from there either.

Your terrace is also that big in size.
Do you have a picture somehow, so I can imagine it?

Thanks for the help.
