Why is financing so difficult?

These are 2 loans of 50K each. One is for Energiesparhausblabla and the other, I believe, is for Barrierefreies-Wohnen or something like that. I always group them together under Kfw70 loans.

No, according to the bank guy they were at least the same. Same interest rates, etc. But I haven't looked into it in detail yet.

The 153iger (Kfw 70) is currently available at 1.41% and the 124iger (KfW Wohneigentumsprogramm) at 1.61%, each with a 10-year fixed interest period. With reasonable creditworthiness, the bank usually beats the 124iger in terms of the term, and you cannot partially repay it early, whereas the 153iger can be repaid at any time in unlimited amounts.

Exact details are available on the KfW website, but in my opinion, the banker's statement cannot be entirely correct...

And the 124 only has 5 months of provisioning-free time!

Okay, then the Sparkassen advisor told us nonsense. He threw both loans at us for the same interest rate of 1.61%. But fine. We didn't want to finance through the Sparkasse anyway.
