Which kitchen appliances from Ikea?

I don't know if the IKEA appliances are good, but you can get branded appliances online at similar prices, sometimes cheaper, sometimes more expensive. Just google it. But you have to compare properly, for example, oven with pyrolysis function..., induction hob...

Don't I have to do that everywhere???

So basically, I can only say good things about the Ikea appliances. Most things really have a very good price-performance ratio (where else can you get an autonomous brand induction cooktop for €299 including 5 years warranty?). Generally, I would buy almost everything there myself – exceptions would be things that you can't get at IKEA for any money or good words, such as ovens with telescopic rails (which hopefully will change next year), or a steam oven if I were to need one. The new top model among the dishwashers (Enastände) is one of the current top models from AEG, which is sold at IKEA under a different name and slightly modified design for a significantly lower price.

The only negative thing about IKEA dishwashers for me is the following: I don't like fully integrated dishwashers. I would prefer a semi-integrated one with a visible control panel, where you can set the program and check if it's finished without opening the door, etc. But unfortunately, there is only the cheap LAGAN with a white front, and nothing more high-quality... Therefore, the new dishwashers (from 499€) also have an integrated display that tells you how long the selected program will take. They also feature a colored LED display that shines onto the floor (red=in operation; green=finished).

I would generally advise against the Lagan - it is no longer up to date in terms of water consumption and equipment.

A display that tells me before the start how long the program will last is quite nice, but it would also be nice to have a remaining time display during ongoing operation.
And unfortunately, that is only available in semi-integrated models.
