Hello,

You are describing a situation that does not really exist; the outdoor unit is not set to "continuous operation" but to "demand." And I would bet that late returnees, and thus cyclists or car drivers, and even the noises of the night are louder than the fan.

Over the past years, we have recommended quite a few devices from Daikin (Daikin is the market leader) and also double units because the square meters required it. I do not hear anything from any of our builders about loud noise pollution. All rather describe exactly the opposite, that - provided the outdoor unit starts up - this noise is not perceived as disturbing and after a few weeks is no longer consciously noticed. And for very sensitive souls, it is advisable to spend a little more money for pipe runs and to install the outdoor unit above the mostly present garage.

By the way, there are also compact units for indoor installation :)

Rhenish greetings

Hello,

€uro has already written something about this - unfortunately, I miss his note that a gas condensing boiler can definitely be more expensive if things go wrong. That is why I continuously write that there is no "one" heating system; the external parameters are too individual for that.

However, I would like to give you a practical example from our appointment yesterday. Today’s houses increasingly resemble a thermos flask; even when built monolithically (we build this way if the framework conditions are suitable). It is logical that the installation of a ventilation system (preferably decentralized) is recommended. If I now add up the costs of the gas condensing boiler and solar as well as decentralized ventilation, I am cost-neutral compared to a comparable air-water heat pump. And – added to this are the saved costs of the unnecessary gas connection.

Sorry, that’s nonsense, but unfortunately a typical human trait. Oops, there’s a noise, I have to hear it :(

You are confusing something here. Aside from the fact that no heating system can operate without electricity, the operating costs of a seriously calculated air-water heat pump are definitely worth a second and third look. And again – one has to look exactly which heat generator really makes sense in the individual case!

However, the operating costs of the air-water heat pump will increase in the coming years because the subsidies for renewable energies have been drastically reduced. This means that the heat pump tariff will soon align with the household tariff. So it will get more expensive, but not because air-water heat pumps are electricity guzzlers in the ignorant chatter of the public.

Conversely, gas consumption costs will stabilize at a calculable level – more short-term than medium-term. The Americans are practically flooding the market, biogas plants are increasingly being built, and the intensified use of district heating is being promoted by many cities/municipalities.

That already exists – just as the possibility to connect a domestic hot water heat pump has existed for a long time.

Rhine regards

Good evening,
in my opinion, Euro described that well. Because he is an expert (TGA planner).
Since today many homebuilders want to buy a "cookie-cutter house", have to, etc., the heating concepts are usually predetermined and because they have often been "proven" somewhat efficient.
Which private homebuilder today commissions a TGA planner with the planning of building services?
And how many planning offices; architects etc. plan the building together with a TGA planner?
Logically, that should be the ideal case. No question!
For me, the heat pump heating system for well-insulated buildings, according to the current state of technology, is a suitable heat generator.
Unfortunately, demand determines the price.
And for many, the question arises whether the 3000-10000€ investment, ranging from the surface collector to the borehole drilling, will ever pay off?
Therefore, I personally find it much more important to place value on proper insulation of the building envelope, because then every heating system is economical ;)

Meanwhile, I find these advertising posts from various users extremely unpleasant! Admin? If such one-sided "liberties" do not change, I will say goodbye to this forum!

Hello €uro,

And then you have to repeat the advertisement yourself as well? Bad sleep, bad weekend, or what’s gotten under your skin?

I’m not on the internet 24 hours; I also have to make a living from my job! It can never be completely ruled out that advertisements are posted; as a rule, the users alert us promptly and then the admin or I react, depending on time.

If you do not like our reaction time, I regret that very much, but I also tell you just as I do everyone else that I will not stop travelers.

Rhenish greetings

Such advertising is always removed here by the admin within a reasonable response time, in my observation.

And Euro, almost every one of your posts ends with the note that for more detailed answers to the question asked, one should please contact a TGA planner.
