Oh yes, we cancelled the airspace. And one of the chimneys of the company Focus, after I received a brochure with the prices.

There will be no outdoor pool due to lack of space. However, pipes are planned for it.

There will also be no elevator at the moment, but the opening for it in the ceiling has already been taken into account. Thanks for the tip to this forum.

Things like flush baseboards or flush doors are something I would reconsider for the next build, whether it is truly essential, as it is all very elaborate and expensive!!

Good suggestion. I even handle it in such a way that I let my neighbor’s ivy overgrow an about 25sqm garden area on our (current) property. That way, I save myself the ground cover. Unfortunately, I only came up with this idea late.

Why was this put on the cut list?
Did this happen to anyone else?

For us, sort of. Only the master of the house has cold feet here; the ladies already go out on the terrace barefoot in winter. I find underfloor heating generally unpleasant. My husband did not want a water-cooled heating system. We wanted a passive house; only air heat pumps did not convince us. So underfloor heating it was. Then, during the planning phase, the offer came to install an experimental system, which simply put is on one side an air-water heat pump, but on the other side distributes the heat via the ventilation system similar to an air heat pump. That got rid of the underfloor heating and has not been regretted. The tiles in the bathroom are relatively warm because the distribution goes through for the upper floor and the system is located in the room below.

What bothers you about that? In a new building, you practically don't notice the underfloor heating anymore. We have about 23° measurable on the floor covering (tiles and vinyl).
