Collecting the cigarette butts is quick and easy for the builder!
But thanks - I didn’t know about the hazardous waste.
Not throwing them down at all is even better. Of course, people prefer to clean up themselves rather than leave them lying around. It always depends on the amount. When I sometimes see how much some people can smoke - that definitely adds up to quite a few butts. Just multiply the number of smokers by the number of days. Nobody says anything about a few (or very few) other pieces of trash anyway. As I said before - talking on equal terms and occasionally a verbal thank you helps a lot. And sometimes you yourself are amazed how clean construction sites can be.
So with all the pallet wood you can always make such a nice fire. And there is still enough on the construction site that burns. (Inkl der kippenstummel)
Then 1-2 crates of liquid bread and you have a nice evening.
What is left over can be buried in the workroom.
(Und das hab ich auf zig Baustellen vor 2000 erlebt); those are probably all highly contaminated areas now.
That's right! In our waste disposal regulation, it also states in §3.2.4.5 that the disposal of cigarette butts and plastic waste is only allowed via the purple problem waste bin. The purple problem waste bin is exclusively collected by carefully tested and highly qualified specialist companies (DIN86430). Please use only suitable gloves when filling the problem waste into the bin.
Only do-gooders around here. Germany really has no other problems. I also find it awful to call construction workers antisocial. But okay, I would like to know how you identify the culprits. As an antisocial construction worker, I would say, we weren't the ones, it must be the neighbor or your 6-year-old son... please ask him.
When I read about the garbage bins, I took action. I wrote an email to Queen Margarete in Copenhagen to ask if she would take us back, formally apologized for 1864, Bismarck, and the Prussians, and pointed out that here we now have to dispose of cigarette butts in hazardous waste containers, which she, as a queen and smoker, will probably see as a reason to take us back and give us our freedom again. --Nu kommer sammen hvad tilhörer sammen....Karsten

But we are still on the construction site... in terms of the topic...!
