Yes, for one slot. Then comes the next slot, move the laser, align it. No wonder construction keeps getting more expensive when even cable slots have to be at right angles nonsense.

Of course, then there is no time or budget left for the acceptance measurements. Cable slots all at 90°. Customer dead because the electrician forgot the PE in the rush. You guys must be out of your minds.

You just turn it around its own axis. It takes 5 seconds.

Apart from that, take a look at the bulging slots They don’t even use a wall groove cutter. Don’t come at me with arguments about cost-effectiveness … they just did it freehand

DIN standards apply:

[*]Cables in walls must be laid only vertically or horizontally

For sockets, switches, or installation boxes located outside the installation zones, it applies that they must be supplied with a vertical branch cable from the nearest horizontal installation zone.

For cables concealed by plaster as well as for switches and sockets, certain installation zones are prescribed within buildings. Taking into account the regulation that cables may only be laid vertically or horizontally, this ensures that the approximate path of the (not visible) cables can be traced. This reduces the risk that cables will be damaged during later installation work by other trades (gas, water, heating), e.g., when drilling dowel holes or hammering nails, etc.

Sure, it’s not a masterpiece, no one claimed that either. But as a buddy always says, "Don’t make a Mona Lisa out of it."
But having the electricians come back again to fill the slots and mill new ones.

That’s just nonsense. Like the little clown saying "But I want to!".

The slots run straight up, not at 45° or directly between the sockets and switches.
That’s fine. You don’t drill 5cm next to the socket anyway, unless you’ve taken pictures and measured.

I fully agree with . Having the electricians come back again now is just insane. Not only does it waste time pointlessly on something nobody will care about later. Having everything chased again now also rather lowers the quality of the walls.
