I would say between (near) Magdeburg and (idNv) Düsseldorf, there is easily a 15-25% salary difference. Rent is another 20-30%. The only thing that would remain the same is material. By the way, also a starting point. If he really is a friend, he might even use material you provide yourself. You can often save a lot that way.

Besides the regional difference, there is also a big difference between a Preis and an Aufpreis. The contractor presumably already has a budget X for electrical work in the contract. The TE hires the electrician themselves.

Yeah, the regional difference is certainly an important factor, which is why it is mentioned. However, I would estimate the surcharge for additional services through a property developer to be rather higher than lower. That’s why I can’t say anything about meter boxes, etc., since I don’t have prices for those.
But I do find the price per socket comparable to the price for additional sockets. And to pay roughly an estimated 6,000 € gross for about 100 sockets without slotting work just like that is at least not cheap in my opinion. Of course, I could be wrong.

Yeah, back then we paid 28.50 for a socket at the BU. But that was in 2020. For this construction, I don't have a detailed breakdown, it's a kind of "flat rate electrical additional work" for the whole house, but it's so low that I actually don't care. =)

A Gira flush-mounted socket costs less than 4 euros in retail, plus the cover for 3-4 euros depending on the model.
You also need a flush-mounted box and some construction foam or plaster. Let's say 1 euro.

That amounts to 10 euros of material per socket calculated roughly. In wholesale, 30 percent less again. The electrician surely doesn’t buy at the hardware store.

How long does it take to install a socket? 10 minutes. A quarter of an hour.

Now you can do the math yourself. 50 euros per socket seems steep to me.

Our electrician only finished everything at our place last month and I can gladly tell you our prices. Also NRW, but OWL. Building with a general contractor, so there are surcharges.

    [*]Socket -> €45
    [*]Outdoor socket with switch-off -> €95
    [*]Patch panel (12 ports), installation of distribution cabinet and connection of network cables -> €540
    [*]LAN connection single -> €126
    [*]HDMI cable duct (TV to sideboard) -> €250, complete rip-off, which we also mentioned, but the guys were otherwise very accommodating and worked quickly/well, so whatever.
    [*]GIRA Sensotec LED stair lighting -> €230
    [*]Switch-off: 1 light outlet - 1 switch -> €109
    [*]Cross-switching: 1 light outlet - multiple switches -> €200
