I would tend to terminate the cooperation. We also had total bad luck with our electricians. Original statement: 2 men 1 week. In the end, they were working little by little for months (5), mostly done by the apprentice alone, the journeyman only came sporadically and finally stopped by once.

I think slots should be straight. In my opinion, you don't have to mark them because with the router you get it fairly straight, as long as you're not drunk. But I do think it is important that it is roughly straight because then you can estimate the course of the cables later (these should always be exactly vertical or horizontal so that you don't cut into the electrical wiring during later drilling or plaster work). By the way, after completing the work, we found numerous errors in labeling and wiring. We are currently in the process of clarifying this with the company. If high-voltage is wrongly labeled (stoves swapped), the fun stops and it becomes dangerous.

Therefore, I would rather look for another company. Who knows what else they might mess up. We should have done that back then, it would have saved us a lot of trouble. And something like that calls itself a master company... ours was even certified by the utility company, by the way.

We spoke with the boss today (the other one back then was probably just a coordinator) and shared our dissatisfaction with him. He will come to the construction site tomorrow morning, take a look, and discuss the next steps.

The electrician with us is supposedly an experienced employee... *eye roll*

Well, what is he supposed to say. As a boss, one first stands by one's people with some decency.

I can't throw any DIN standards at you here now, but in my opinion, it should be sufficient if the slots are located within the installation zones, because that's what they were designed for.

I think you are all exaggerating a bit right now. I don't see anything in the pictures that would already prevent a later proper condition. Whether the groove is drawn perfectly level with the spirit level or not doesn't really matter. What must be observed are the installation zones, and I see them given here. So what exactly is the problem now? How big are the deviations in the height of the light switches, for example? For one or two centimeters, it really doesn't matter; you only notice it if you measure. If boxes are set incorrectly, just let him know, it can be corrected very quickly. I also don't see any empty boxes set so crookedly that it would still be noticeable during installation later. A complete new installation for an entire house in just three weeks is also quite ambitious, he's right about that. So especially with regard to the fact that you want to be finished by the end of March, I would take another look at it with a bit more distance and calm.

If the cables are laid in the slanted slots, you make yourself a laughingstock to all subsequent craftsmen. I don't have to check boxes at different heights as a client and point out the fool responsible. What about the bathroom with the tiles and measuring ceiling lamps afterward because they're not centered? An entire house in three weeks, yes that's ridiculous. I can do a bungalow with 100 square meters alone in 10 hours, then the plasterers can come the next day.
