Karsten, where is the added value in your statement now?

There is none except that there are enough people who are willing to pay ten times more for a sink in an exclusive atmosphere than next door, where they are addressed informally and forced to have Ködböller with lingonberries and mashed potatoes. Principle Audi, where is the added value compared to Skoda? Karsten

You do get more if you go to VW. But these are all softer factors. Interior noise level, door thickness, etc. or a selection of engines with higher horsepower.

All three get me from A to B.

I personally always make sure to buy locally and also hire craftsmen locally. But with the sometimes extremely high prices in the sanitary trade, I also see red. The mixed calculation is, in my opinion, a lazy excuse. Quality is used as a pretext and a 300% surcharge is demanded. I don't think that's fair. That's why I have no problem ordering online. No one gets upset about a few percent because storage costs, etc., have to be factored in. But please keep it reasonable. I experienced something similar with a TV guy last year. Then it's his own fault.

Storage costs are more likely to be with Reuter or Megabad. The sanitary installer orders from the wholesaler and the wholesaler from the manufacturer. There should hardly be any storage costs.

Either you really only have bad kitchen studios and furniture stores or haven't compared properly. Sure, at first the price at Ikea seems good, but when you start comparing like with like, an IKEA kitchen is actually quite expensive.

And the quality. To assess objectively now: in a brand new 2017 comparative test of ovens, the IKEA appliance came in last place. Competitors were big brands like Amica, Hanseatic or Respekta. The competitor models from the brand manufacturers were also rather entry-level and not their best products.
