Solution for the wardrobe

We solved our wardrobe with two 50er Pax cabinets:



Everything around is closed with drywall and coated with the same fine plaster as the rest of the hallway. The cabinet doors are flush. The two spots are controlled by a small motion detector mounted up there (you can see it if you look closely).

In the middle, there will still be a wardrobe bench with seat cushions in full width and depth. The bench will then have drawers and compartments. The back third of the bench will open like a chest.

We deliberately did not want an open solution. This way, everything disappears into the cabinets. The left one has drawers, pull-out compartments, and a clothes rail. The right one has two clothes rails (one below for the kids and one above for visitors). Additionally, there are storage compartments.

I like it very much - can you take another photo in "full width" and possibly also with cabinets open? What is the width in dimensions?

However, the temporary shelf is still in place, which will be replaced by the bench. The mirror was installed the day after this photo was taken.

Setup:
5cm plaster + 50cm cabinet + 77cm bench + 50cm cabinet + 5cm plaster => total width of the niche: 1.87m

How did you solve the problem with wet jackets/shoes? Do they also go into the closet? Do you have a special corner for them?

Wet jackets and shoes go into the utility room. The drawers of the cabinets have also been lined with protective mats.

My wife already wants a replica now - very good.
