Hello,
we have had Pax wardrobes in birch in the cloakroom and dressing room for about 13 years. I can't say anything bad about them.
In the cloakroom, we installed the pull-out wire baskets with a depth of 50cm. Each child (we have 3) has one, and we parents have two each. In the upper area, the wire shelves are installed. There we store things that are rarely used. We have a 3-meter-long wardrobe there. On two rods mounted one above the other are the jackets that are not worn all the time. I know you have less space. So it's just an idea. We also store medicines, a vacuum cleaner, and cleaning supplies in one cabinet there.
Important in a cloakroom is an additional place for shoes that are currently being worn or jackets that should not be stored damp or sweaty in the wardrobe, or for visitors. For this, we also have an open shelf with a rod and baskets for scarves, gloves, and who knows what, which is only shielded by a curtain.
In the dressing room, we have two 1.50m cabinets with 50 cm depth and opposite them – as far as I know – unfortunately no longer available cabinets with 37cm depth with drawers at the bottom. The drawers are great for underwear, socks. Shirts etc. can be stored on top. Folded they don’t need 50cm. But still, two stacks fit side by side.
I personally don’t like sliding doors at all, since you can only reach one side and always have to slide back and forth. But we also wanted mirrors on the ground floor and in the dressing room and took 2 doors each in the mirror version. What is really good about this is that when the door is open you can look at yourself from a distance. "Women" sometimes or often find that really important.
I would really think again about the height of 236cm. With my normal size, I can’t reach the upper shelves, but I can reach the upper rods. I got a small stool for that, which is only rarely used.
Hope I could give you some input.
