This can also be fulfilled with its own parking bay like with , for that you neither have to park the cars "SbS" side by side nor cover them. No, but a TE who provides enlightening facts there once.

But you know: the OP also has a private life

That sounds very vague and unclear. So far, I don't understand it.

Without clear facts, it is indeed too early for (as Yvonne says) "cookies"

True. Thank you for the lively exchange and for letting me break my head with you about us. I will try to create a bit more clarity. According to the development plan, it is a tree to be planted... Attention: without a fixed location. From this I conclude a certain flexibility. The parking situation is our challenge, since we want to move the house, according to our plan so far, as far "up" as possible to maximize the garden area. Basically, some considerations by have already come to light. 1. Design the driveway as in my opening thread. Perpendicular to the house. According to the municipality's email, this is not a problem. We want to build via the exemption procedure, so without the long detour through the LA. However, until the building application has been examined, I don't trust that the driveway will really be approved as is. 2. Also place the carports perpendicular and design the driveway continuously to the house. Here you can park "askew" sometimes. Nobody can dictate how I have to park my car on my property. 3. Maybe a single carport and then a parking space. But where ideally should that parking space be? 4. Other ideas??? Regarding my property details and parameters, I am happy to contribute to improvements. When opening the thread, I was not aware that more information was missing to be able to assess it. I had attached a file with the slope of the entire property. I can gladly provide a site plan with meter markings and a north arrow (which is included in the site plan) in the floor plans again if it contributes to a better assessment of the situation. Possibly I was too hasty with the floor plans and may have caused some frowns or irritation with our premises regarding the two residential units issue. In any case, adjustments are still needed here. Well, we have the property now. Whether fish or fowl. It is currently mostly soil and clay and we want to make the best of it. I am looking forward to the terrace tips. Regarding the "all-purpose room" in the basement. How is that defined in a basement? Eating/living/cooking? Only living? If I look at our basement design, we would only have about 40 m² facing the garden. That’s only enough for living/eating at most. Where should the kitchen go? Into the hillside? Or am I interpreting something wrong?

Hello, after some participants noted the difficult assessability due to missing information, I have created a sketch again, which hopefully helps further. The goal remains to optimize the parking situation and to push the house "upwards."

Looking forward to input.
