Single-family house approx. 180 m² - What do you think about that?

If the corner is gone, of course.
The whole thing somehow looks helplessly put together. It's not a drama, but I don't get a sense of a house here - more like in an apartment. That eternal line of sight all the way to the stairs - that would bother me too.
Don't you have an architect who implements your wishes?

I don't understand ... which corner bothers you? Stair view ... door to the open living/dining/cooking area might be good. By the way, I find the floor plan much better than the entrance floor plan. The bathroom should be reconsidered to create a more spacious shower. For example, giving up the wide window.

The bedroom directly next to the living room wall would be too noisy for me. Upstairs, I would not like it if the children (if there are three) could only use the [Dachterrasse], as the parents would no longer have access. My daughter would also be very bothered by having to use curtains, as otherwise her brother could see into her room from the [Dachterrasse].

Best regards
Sabine

Yes, we could do that. What we actually find quite nice is that quite a bit of light should come into the entrance area that way.

Thank you for the compliment, we like it better too.

We are still thinking about how we could improve this. Regarding the sauna, we were told that an external dimension of 2 x 1.9 meters is sufficient. Do you have experience with this?
The shower would then be about 1.1 m by 1.3 m. That is still a bit too small for us. Do you think the width is okay and we just need to increase the depth?

Sorry, but I have to question the building mass as a whole:

In my opinion, you have a great plot. The garage is, in my view, positioned far too far to the left side of the plan. The entire arrangement is extremely unfortunate to me. If it were mine, this would be the orientation I would most likely consider for the building mass:

As you can see, the utility room now adjoins the garage and therefore has fewer windows, not the kitchen. Whether a corner needs to be added or removed somewhere will be decided in the next step.

Well, this one:

Yes, every room is quite spacious and you can use it properly. But this corner is still the first thing that catches your eye and jumps out at you. I couldn't get used to it.
