Attached are the floor plans. In the hallway, we have changed the wall slightly so that we have a niche for a wardrobe both in the office (formerly children's room) and the hallway.

Super, thank you. Very nicely planned. But there will be a double washbasin in the bathroom, right? What about the moisture in the basement walls? It should be better by now, shouldn't it?

Thank you very much In our main bathroom there will only be one sink. Otherwise, a double sink in the corner would be a bit tight. We've actually always been fine with that The bathroom with the sauna is just for the two of us. Our daughter gets her own space with a private bathroom in the granny flat. She's still quite young, but in a few years she’ll be incredibly grateful when she doesn’t have to deal with us anymore We basically no longer have any moisture inside. Everything is nicely dry except for two spots. In the utility room in the basement, there is still one damp spot, the black insulation there isn’t so great and probably has issues with standing water. That was foreseeable. It will be dug up, black insulated, and a drainage system installed. This will happen soon, as soon as I buy an excavator. Upstairs, at our two 5-meter elements, the floor slab is a bit uneven so that water currently flows into our living room from the outside area with a slight slope when it rains heavily. Of course, the slope is inward and not outward :-P Let’s see how that will be when the windows come in. The terrace will be brought to the same level as our interior area, also insulated (at this point outside/inside there is no thermal separation due to the existing structure), sloped screed applied, and also tiled. Our roofer will seal the connection with a rubber compound between (the screed/or was it insulation?) and our windows on the outside.

Does the basement have external insulation, dimpled membrane, and bitumen coating? Lower the terrace slightly so that no standing water can form.

Sorry, I still wanted to answer the question: The basement had bubble wrap and black insulation. No insulation. It is completely built with T7 insulating bricks.
