So then... attached are some new pictures showing how things have developed..... basically, inside we are finished except for the final logic KNX, pellet stove, interior doors, and the access points. Pictures of the pool construction will come soon. Currently, the hole is dug, waiting for materials and the end of the holiday period. The pool is about 10x5m with a 2m shallow area, so we don't actually have that much swimming surface... but there will be a counter-current system. Estimated cost around 35..40k euros.

So then, the last update was a long time ago.

We have been living in the new house for several months now. Building it ourselves was a strenuous but interesting experience :-) For that, life here feels like a vacation.

Formally, I still had to organize the KFW funding BnD, that is done.

Inside, the interior doors have now arrived, probably within the next 1..2 weeks we will import the final logic and control until we eventually get a visualization and a logic engine.... But it takes time. The financial resources I want to invest in the house are currently focused on the outdoor area. The pool construction is in full swing. In total, I think it will rather be around 40,000 Euros.

I'm really glad that the house construction was mostly done before the big raw material shortage and the problematic supply situations.

The pool would definitely have been a few euros cheaper last year, but well...

For that, I will probably even make money on the excavator.... Buying the equipment completely was a really good decision at the beginning of the construction phase... I made no loss on the scaffolding and would probably have paid almost 10,000 Euros in rent over the long construction period... The excavator would not have been financeable at all by constantly renting and delivering it when we needed it....

Currently, I have initial inquiries from foreign construction companies. It seems there is also a shortage of construction machinery....

So now to the pictures.

The boxes are currently for the inflows and outflows in the floor. Since the built-in parts will only arrive at the end of the year, we left the recesses open and will install them next year.

We have a lower-lying spot of the floor slab... it will look like the lower-lying spot will be the technical room with about 179cm room height. Above it, a flat zone will be created with a view over the valley.

The pool has internal dimensions of 9.7*5 including the flat zone. Depth 1.5m, flat zone 50cm.

The current state is the freshly poured floor slab today. In about 2 weeks the sandwich walls will arrive, which will then be erected along with the delicate ceiling for the flat zone. The room will be built with masonry.

The execution is as a white tank with WU concrete and will be glued inside with pool foil.

I don't have fresh before pictures now, but you will find these earlier in the thread. I have photographed the terrace area quite often with the window front.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to get in touch!
