Honestly, I wouldn’t put myself through that if I weren’t mentally on top of things. What if, for example, the condition worsens due to the additional burden of planning the house or other events and results in an inability to work? You never act wisely when in panic mode. What does your husband say about it? If my wife acted like that, I wouldn’t let her make decisions about such sums and efforts, but rather make sure the basic condition improves. Who says that the next unbearable factor won’t appear in the other house?

The property must be purchased by the end of 2025 after the commitment … so no rash decision.

I am not mentally unstable either, but through help I just want to find out exactly what I want in life and where and how I want to live, since I (similar to Kathi’s story) want to exclude that my noise sensitivity in the new house is a symptom of something else – namely that I would like to completely pull up stakes. But I don’t believe that … But better to be cautious.
But thanks anyway for your assessment

That makes me happy. No, here a distorted perception apparently prevails over the relaxed factual situation. No, you apparently even take encouraging words the wrong way.

Don't worry, I don't take anything the wrong way. I appreciate every response and sympathy. I (hopefully) don't experience the situation daily in my life either, and I always try to remind myself that it is a "golden cage" problem.

Now it was really just about numbers, data, facts, and I also think that with a good income, one can ask for the opinion of outsiders with more experience again....

Many people think that if you have a psychological problem, you are completely crazy and can't get anything done. Of course, that's total nonsense. No, for example, someone who has a panic fear of spiders is definitely capable of living and making decisions. Whatever exactly is currently troubling the TE, I have absolutely no feeling that she does not assess the situation correctly and could make optimal decisions for herself. I would definitely submit the application if I were you. Others have more knowledge about financing, but with that income, I would have no concerns.
