I just read through the warranty terms for my 20-year warranty.
After 20 years, Senec still guarantees a storage capacity of 70%.
In case of defective components, I have a deductible of up to €250 on the materials.
For defective batteries, there is a deductible of €250 per kWh. That would be €675 for a new battery, in case one breaks down within the 20 years.
The question is what happens to the functioning batteries then, since Senec apparently requires that the production dates of the installed batteries must not be more than one year apart.
How did you come to 15,000 euros for 10kwp including storage in terms of acquisition? What about installation costs? Is that gross? The storage systems were still extremely expensive two years ago ….2020 Were those prices 1,400 euros per kWh of storage? You paid half? Well, with that consumption it’s worth it … with what Otto Normalverbraucher needs, probably not again …
No, that is net. I got the VAT refunded by the tax office. The price is completely including assembly and commissioning. For the storage, I also received a €2,000 subsidy to reach the price. Actually, it was €8,000 net.
Net or gross?
My system is purchased and not rented.
I also had comparable offers for just under €30,000. Gross.
To clarify again. The invoice from the solar installer was exactly €20,230 gross.
The VAT of €3,230 was refunded, and €2,000 in subsidies, so that I paid exactly €15,000 in total.
I had an offer in October 2020 for 9.9kWp and 7.7kWh storage for just over 19,000, so it's not unrealistically far off... It's hard to imagine nowadays.
