I still suspect that no one has done the calculations. Before that, you can neither buy a heat pump nor the right radiators. So let someone calculate; before that, everything is just an estimate. A plumbing company usually can't do that.

Regarding the high price: Yes, it's probably overpriced. But you aren't in a rush since your heating system is still working, right?! So get more offers and possibly wait.

Ok, so there are no real facts for your statements. But then please refrain from statements like "You have to do it in 10 years." Yes, of course there is climate change, but hardly anyone will take out a loan hoping it will pay off in the foreseeable future. The amounts to be invested are too large for that. Only those who have sufficient financial means can do that, and that does not apply to the majority of the population.

Now I had to quickly look up what statements I’m actually making. But I’m not making any. Phew. :)

In my opinion, you also don’t quite see the rest correctly: A house costs money. That’s a luxury. It’s said that about €1.50/sqm per month for reserves is necessary from the first time of occupancy. If you do that and maintain your house every few years, you have a low heating load and can install a heat pump for around €10,000 if the heating breaks down.

Whoever lives down their house for 40 years and then has no money for external insulation, new windows, roof, and heating, either has to take the loan you mentioned (regardless of any political or societal pressures), OR (and yes, maybe that sounds harsh) the person simply cannot afford the house. But that has already been the case for many decades and no one can be blamed for that.

So if someone now says they DON’T WANT to install a heat pump and preferably also do nothing against a high heating load, then please don’t complain in 10 years when they have heating costs of €5,000 per year and can no longer maintain the house. Yes, our politics’ task would have been to ban gas, oil, and wood 10 years ago to protect people from exactly the situation we are in today. Denmark managed it. Others are following. But we want "freedom" and few rules at any cost. That then costs those who make the wrong decision. You can see how well that goes in the USA.

So: Everyone can do whatever they want. I only advise, to the best of my knowledge and conscience, for as much reason and foresight as possible. Because I care about intact families, happy people, and a stable cohesion in our society.

So, sorry. I needed to get that off my chest.

Hello, I forgot one point. There is an air conditioning system installed in the open living-dining area (1 year old), does that speak against a heat pump? Double technology at least concerning the ground floor? A point from another HB. Offer Viessmann Vitodens 300 plus 200l storage tank plus domestic hot water heat pump Vitocal 262-A for external storage about 16,000€ including a crane for transport over the roof and dismantling of the old solar thermal system. Using photovoltaic would also be an option.

I don't understand. Why would a heat pump for spot air conditioning be against a central heating system? I would say that works well together. This way, you can run an economical 20°C throughout the entire house, and when you want a few degrees more for cozying up in the evening, you quickly heat up with the air conditioning. I consider that quite efficient and it complements each other very well. If anything, you can even choose a smaller heating system because of that.

Sorry, I didn't express myself clearly, the HB meant that the air conditioning could at least heat the entire ground floor during the transitional period (supported by photovoltaics), so the heat pump as a heating option would then be double technology. That's why he recommends the above offer with BWWP. According to HB, the gas heating would only run in winter. Hence my question. It also sounds logical since the air conditioning would then also run on electricity from the photovoltaics. And so would the BWWP. By central heating, do you mean the new heat pump as heating?
