I guess: supply temperature / return temperature / room temperature The values are very close to the worst case. ;-)

He is talking about the design of the heat pump. So rather not reasonably feasible with the existing radiators, as then the heat pump is probably not really efficient. It remains either new radiators or a new gas boiler. Thanks for the information

Without room-by-room heating load calculation, everything is just an estimate and not a "design". And I can also estimate that the flow temperature can be much lower.

Otherwise: 55° is barely acceptable. But every degree helps and new radiators are probably worthwhile.

Edit: In my opinion, a "new gas boiler" is rather not an option. You haven’t gained much if you have to do it again in 10 years. NOW is the chance to take advantage of the huge subsidies, upgrade the house to a better standard, and install a future-proof heating system. Currently, there is discussion about whether gas can be cut off "hourly" to private households, or if that would be disproportionate. This winter, despite Russian gas, it was almost impossible to keep the supply stable... Also currently: the plans for the dismantling of the gas network are underway. No idea what there is still to consider.

37,400 euros is quite a sum. What confuses me is this temperature specification even though the offer includes 9 new radiators. The temperature should be significantly lower, right? This is what the offer says: assumption 110m² living space with about 60 W/m² design 55/45/21°C For me, now, it’s not understandable. I also have a reduced offer with only one new radiator in the bathroom for about 29,700 plus crane and electrical work about 1,600, so a total of 31,300 including VAT. At least 6,100 cheaper. Offer valid until 31.05.2021 as prices are rising.

I agree with you that heat pumps are the future, but do you have facts to support your statements? Where exactly does it say that gas heaters have to be replaced in 10 years? So far, I only read about ideas, and what is supposed to happen in 20 years will probably be changed several times anyway. Without financial incentives, hardly anyone will be motivated to convert in 10 years. Because whether I give the money to my gas supplier or to the bank (for the loan) doesn't really matter at first.

What kind of facts do you want? Climate change? Paris agreements? Federal Constitutional Court ruling? "Have to replace" is not necessary. That's what people want. Either for the children, the wallet, or simply because they want to heat. Subsidies are only paid as long as necessary because the profitability of a decision is at stake. If the gas price stays like this, there will be no more discussions about the profitability of heat pumps. Then subsidies won't be needed anymore either. But sure – you can also gamble. ;-)
