Hi Sebastian,

would you be so kind to let me know, preferably via PM, which radio and speakers you chose for the children's bathroom? I would also be interested in the names and manufacturers of the speakers in the bathroom that can be controlled via mobile phone.

Thank you very much and best regards
Michael

Hi,

Terrible, horrible terrible. me2

Seriously: On the one hand, we struggle for every tiny bit of energy in our houses (mostly in the form of electricity), on the other hand I have in mind that telecommunications here in Germany account for about 10% of electricity consumption, with a growing tendency. But that would be the topic for another thread.

Why via PM? It might be interesting for others as well. ☺

My girlfriend also loves taking long baths. We have planned speakers in the ceiling here, but in any case I will have a network (Smart Mirror?), although initially only music is planned.

Everything is conceivable. News can run on the mirror while getting ready, TV while bathing, ...

As always, everyone has to decide for themselves. Nothing is unthinkable or even reprehensible in this regard.

Well, I’m not struggling over every little bit of electricity - although I don’t want to waste it either. But I want to live comfortably.

In the kids' bathroom it’s the regular Gira built-in radio with touch control.

The speakers are Visaton DL-8, which we have in the garage, kitchen, kids' bathroom, and parents' bathroom. For outdoors I haven’t found anything yet...

My Pioneer receiver has app control on board, but “only” three rooms are possible there. The garage is an HD zone, the living room of course as well, and then I have a normal zone that has to control the two bathrooms, kitchen, and terrace. A friend built me a splitter that distributes the signals to the respective room via button press.

So nothing to buy.

I have also planned Visaton. Are you satisfied?
