Just a quick question for the pros, maybe this can be applied here as well.

There is online map material that apparently was also consulted here. Some of them even have a measuring function; can you rely on that or is it too inaccurate? I use Bayernviewer, and at least as far as the exterior dimensions of parcels are concerned, it is quite accurate, but does that also apply to height measurement?

Personally, I would always build with a basement. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the perfectly finished living basement.

I would agree with that. However, that would also mean that the plot would not require a basement "already to avoid L-blocks." Whereas the soil survey is only relevant for the basement offer and is only partly useful in deciding for or against a basement. In which flower bed did you read this smarty advice? That almost sounds like ZDF WiSo level (?). Of course, one does not open possibilities at the critically fitting interface OKKD to shift responsibility back and forth. The Judas wage potential of this own goal is also greatly overrated. No, the basement builder should always be a specifically competent subcontractor of the house supplier. I would only rely on the unfortunately driven away , but for tendering driveway paving, the Atlas tool surely measures accurately enough. Since, regarding height measurements for home use, it is only about differences, the data should be sufficient to estimate driveway slopes or terrace embankments. After all, the garden landscaper does not work with the 1200 dpi 3D printer ;-)

Partial basement - forget it. Here are the basement prices we had calculated by Gussek Haus basement construction - (it is a smooth concrete basement, but they are not cheaper in direct purchase either, we compared offers)

Oh, I actually find him quite competent, just his "Flo" a bit confused. That's even more drastically not cost-effective than roughly estimated :-(

Good instinct ;) The argument was made with the savings potential, but your reasoning makes absolute sense to me, of course. If you want a basement and the prefab house provider doesn't offer that - would that be a dealbreaker in the selection?

Thank you very much for the clear example. That's insane... Have you also compared with other providers? Are there any significant differences?
