Rekers offers two heights according to the catalog. Garages are often to be built on boundary lines, which usually limits the height. However, the decisive factor for usability is the clear height of the door, which is unfortunately often only specified for the up-and-over door variant in the catalog. Here, it may be necessary to check the clear passage height with the door supplier and then decide whether that is sufficient.

I have not yet received a response from Zapf, but with them, another door can be offered, which results in a clear passage width of 5.50 m and a height of 2.12 m. The door is then mounted behind the reveal. However, with them, there is a support post (jamb) on the right and left sides of the interior walls, which extends 12 cm into the garage. Something like this: That could then interfere with opening doors. Fa. Rekers can offer a smooth interior wall but only a passage width of 5 m! Furthermore, our garage must be recessed in the rear area (approx. 100-150 cm). Rekers cannot do that, or guarantees the statics only up to 50 cm of soil backfill. With them, a rear wall reinforcement is available for an additional 380€. Does anyone have experience with the interior post or soil backfill?
