The large garage has a weight of 24 tons - without door etc.

So.... the garage halves each weigh 20 tons. Today received an offer... 2400€ !!! for the crane 2nd offer: 1550€ Both for 120-ton crane including ballast on and off and 3 hours of working time

Does anyone know Alwe Garages or Damit Garages? Experiences? Both made good offers. Alwe advantage: Thick coating in the earth backfill area and crane included. Price: 18500€. Advantage Damit: Clear gate width 540cm x 212cm (40cm wider and 15cm higher). Price: 17900€ + 1300€ for crane = 19200€

The prices for crane assembly are sometimes really steep. I have an offer from Rekers for a garage (6.5 x 6 meters) over €17,500 plus crane assembly. A comparable offer from Laumer (they are from nearby) is a bit more expensive but they come with a special vehicle where usually no crane is necessary.

Has anyone actually tried to negotiate? With almost €20,000, a few percent should be possible.
