Does anyone know how much a crane costs? (lifting from the truck onto the foundations)

Depending on the size, usually between 400 and 800€.

Size and distance are crucial. Okay, ours is 500m away from us, but that shouldn't matter that much. How much time and setup and breakdown were calculated?

I initially received this offer by phone... 2 hours for arrival and departure, 3.5 hours then on site at 120€ + 250€ flat transport fee + VAT. It concerns 2 (half) garages to be joined into a 6x6 meter large garage.

That's a pretty substantial amount: €17,900 for the finished garage + €2,400 for the foundations + €1,100 crane = €21,400 (excavation work + sealing work are still to come - I don't know how much those will be). I suspect in the end we will be at €24,000!!
