The prefab house experts have been with me for what feels like an eternity. I believe I was the xx. customer in the Facebook group "Bauherrenforum," have listened to almost every podcast episode, and have had multiple contacts with Flo and Tobi. I took advantage of the free initial consultation in mid-January and openly laid out my thoughts/concerns, as described here in #91. Flo seemed a bit curt given it was Friday afternoon, but was super open. Since we already had good talks with two regional general contractors and see the advantage of sourcing the basement and house trades from one source, we will build massively. If it had been timber frame construction, I would have almost certainly brought FHE on board.

Regarding the architect: Amelie has recently joined, as my predecessor wrote. The shop was expanded to include an architect offering.

Fun fact: The link there leads nowhere due to an (embarrassing) spelling mistake.

As sensible as I find the specialization of these experts, readers should still be reminded that their information offerings include many things that are useful to any builder regardless of construction method. Only the fee-based services (such as the review of construction service descriptions) are specifically focused on "prefabricated" houses. However, what is said about, for example, a knee wall or a heat pump applies just the same to "stone on stone".
