Our experience shows that no construction company likes an additional hole (pool) in the construction area. They prefer to have freedom of construction, scaffolding, material storage, debris storage, and space for deliveries all to themselves. Once the house is up and the garden is turned upside down, the landscaper should refill the garden, level it, haul away soil, etc. He is your man for the pool; the construction road for delivery is still available. In the case of a pool behind the house, it should have already been delivered beforehand, but installation is done by the landscaper or pool builder.

Thank you for the feedback!

Would you be so kind as to briefly explain your reasons?

Thanks for the assessment. 8x4m is only meant as a guideline. I forgot the "approximately" in my initial post. 8x3m would certainly also fit well.

We experienced this directly, although the excavation was done in EL while interior work was still ongoing in the house, so towards the end. The base slab was also done in EL or ordered via delivery with a conveyor vehicle. Can you also place EL? Regarding costs, you have already heard a "ballpark figure," but I find this quite high depending on the type of pool desired and everything that should be done by the landscaping company, etc. Others will give you similar numbers here, perhaps we are an exception, no idea. But so you have heard it: We spent about 10k on our PP pool with stairs measuring 7x3m including technology (which is not in a shaft but in the garden shed next door) as well as the above-mentioned work and are happy with it.

Gladly, within the family we have discussed the topic of the pool intensively and it was about situations in which I cannot ensure that a supervisor is always! present when the pool is open and, for example, my grandchildren (1-5 years old) are there. For example, when I have to "quickly" go to the toilet, etc. Sometimes 2 minutes are enough for a child to drown. I cannot or do not want to take responsibility for that at the moment. As soon as the youngest can swim, I'll start with the pool construction... It will also be placed fairly far forward on the property, so I don’t have to redo everything completely. Necessary cables (or empty conduits) and lines have however already been planned.

Do you perhaps have some pictures and further information? My budget for an approximately 3.5x2.5x1.6 small pool (more like an exercise pool  ) is currently around 15K with a lot of own work. However, the pool should be heated (with about 1.6 - 2.4KWp photovoltaics + small heat pump ...). The pool also needs to be covered with a movable insulating wooden deck...

What exactly do you need? I have to provide the photo later. The purchase of the heat pump is not a big deal, depending on usage the running costs are not negligible. The desired coverage will probably cost about the same as your pool itself ;)
