Whether the heating has more KW hardly makes a difference to the size;) But now it's already too late anyway. Please keep us updated.

I cannot provide personal experience yet, but we were advised by several pool builders to place a cover over the pool along with an in-floor roller shutter on the pool edge during winter. This is so that it is easier in spring to remove or rinse off dirt along with leaves, etc. Otherwise, everything would be drawn in when opening the roller shutter, that was the explanation. There are inexpensive solutions and more expensive ones, the latter of which also look significantly better.

As mentioned, it depends on whether and how the pool is used in winter. If the pool is decommissioned in winter, I would choose a simple substructure plus cheap foil.
