I will already describe the impression of the consultation meeting. It is a family business with around 30 employees. Our contact person was very nice, first showed us some pools, sizes, and options in the hall, and then took a lot of time for the offer.
Material:
They usually use 8mm thick PP panels, with the possibility to upgrade to 15mm for about 30-35% more, which they only install very rarely.
Pool size:
We are having a smaller version with 6.7 x 3.3m and a larger version with 9 x 3.7m with one or two spotlights as skimmers quoted.
Counter-current system:
We decided to forgo the counter-current system, as the model would have cost 3,500 euros and apparently would not have been suitable for (sporty) freestyle swimming. The employee said: "For that price, you can make the pool 3m longer."
Cover:
For the cover, he gave us the net price for the underfloor roller shutter of 9k/10k for the small and 11k/12k for the large version. Alternatively, there is the option of a manual bar cover for about 1/3 of the price.
Technology:
In terms of technology, we planned with automatic dosing, without flocculants and special anti-algae agents.
He pointed out that for a larger pool, the heating installer must be urgently informed about the heat exchanger so that he possibly installs a larger heater or we install a separate heat pump for the pool.
We will receive the offer in three days.
What are your thoughts on my impression?
What do you think about the issue of underfloor roller shutter vs. bar cover?
How much would the topic "heating may have to be larger for the pool’s heat exchanger or a separate heat pump" cause you concern?
