Planning or room layouts - What do you think about it?

Presumably, you have already thought about it and have good reasons: Can't the toilet on the ground floor be expanded at the expense of the HWT to include a shower, even if it is very small? If you live in the house as a family of four and sometimes have guests or the (grown-up) children have overnight guests, it is quite convenient. I think the effort would be manageable. If necessary, I would rather do without the shower upstairs; there you can install a bathtub-shower combination and instead set up the shower on the ground floor.

I just say

That's the first thing you do as a new member in a forum ... read the pinned posts.

Not at all ... since there's neither a north arrow, site plan, explanations of who is supposed to live there, etc. Not even what you like or where you have doubts or questions.

Reading the textual specifications crosswise I won’t strain my neck; it would be helpful if you could post them in a readable position. Is there no plan with the building window drawn in?
Is the access via the street Am Dornbusch? Then that would mean you block your sunny south side with a garage?
Do the children already exist or are they still “in planning”?
Or are they not planned at all and children’s room 1 will become an office and room 2 a guest room?

Please also include your personal situation here, so that it’s clear what is important.

You are planning more than 20 sqm for the parents’ snoring area and dressing room, while the children have only a little more than half that space in the rooms where they play, read, do homework, and entertain friends.
Such small children’s rooms can be done in a small house because the building plot or budget do not allow more. But here the children’s room is simply disproportionately small in relation to the rest of the house. You can still get significantly more space for the children; the bathroom and especially the parents’ area are planned wastefully.
Also, please place both children on the sunny southwest or southeast side, that’s where they live and need light. Sleeping parents and bathrooms do not necessarily need a south side.

Living area is much bigger than necessary, hallways are also far too large with too few options to install wardrobes there. Slanting corners on the ground floor also reduce this possibility. There is too little storage space overall. In the small children’s rooms there is hardly any space for winter clothing, larger toys, etc. Storage space is always useful when you have children.
(Example: Child 1 is too old for the rocking horse, Child 2 is still too young; rocking horse goes into storage).

It is an interesting first approach. I would recommend resetting everything to zero and redefining room layouts, room sizes and garage position.

It seems to me this has long gone out of style.

What does "Z" mean?
I miss the placement of the house on the plot (site plan / north arrow).

Where do you see size in this house?

... and where is the second parking space?
That was just a rhetorical question... the questionnaire only has a fraction to do with the actual one. A lot is missing, and we notice that!

Not great: big house, little inside. Looks like it wasn’t really planned there. Probably arbitrary creation of angled walls. Impractical bathroom (access) is rather coincidental too?!
The worm appendage may be personally desired. I find that strange. Why the balcony now connects child and parents may also remain an eternal mystery.
