So, first of all, thanks to most of you who really gave important advice and good tips! I was able to take a lot from here and will try to implement it in the next planning. I also liked all the relevant posts.
I don’t understand why some (like my previous poster) feel the need to make stupid jokes or comments. Isn’t your time too precious for that? If you can’t or don’t want to help, just don’t. I simply have no idea about everything, I’m building a house for the first time, and unfortunately I can bring exactly €0.00 in inheritance, so I might not be able to afford a lot – then the house planning simply has to be adjusted accordingly (and that’s exactly what helpful comments here are good for).
By the way, Mr. + Mrs. Rich is unfortunately completely off – we got a property cheaply, but everything we build on it, we will have to work hard for. We will be able to contribute just under 100k in equity, that’s it. And we both worked for that and didn’t get anything from anywhere. We both come from very, very humble backgrounds and are just lucky to have very well-paid jobs, otherwise we couldn’t even afford a house for 500k.
As I already mentioned above, we have an architect, who we are very good friends with, who is planning for us. Before we go to her, I wanted to hear some ideas. Maybe it’s even good that everything here gets criticized and thrown overboard again, then the rough draft I deliver to her might be all the closer to reality ;)
