The road leading down from the south is not straight enough for us, which is why we decided on access from the east. Do you mean if the garage is placed right in the upper right corner or how?

Exactly, at least as far as the building regulations/your requirement to possibly have an outdoor parking space in front of the garage allow. In the picture, of course, with the "wrong" entrance then.

Ah ok, I understood. I think we just need to decide whether to place the entrance on the north or east side.
A direct connection of the garage to the house is not an option for us due to the loss of window areas.
So we have now found options that can still work well for us.
The suggestions here are really great!

Ok, I thought that would basically be fine (also regarding the mentioned variant 1, in which it is at least partially like that). Are you planning a basement? Depending on that, there is the possibility to compensate for the missing (north!) windows caused by the garage to some extent by, for example, accommodating a utility room and pantry there? That would also allow access to the garage. Of course, the garage does not have to be aligned flush with the house on the west side, but can be shifted flexibly along the northern boundary, thus trading garden space in the northwest for windows on the north side.

Oh, then that didn't quite come across in my "sensational" sketch. :-D We would plan that as a covered corridor in this variant.

Yes, in the top floor we actually haven’t planned any room without a window.

And yes, you can move freely along the northern border. Great!

I understand :) that the view is still rather mediocre, this should be considered in the room layout. :) But nice that you found a solution that suits you!
