No need for that! Deal with your property so that you can at least tell others how big it is. As the owner, you should know the dimensions! Such nonsense! Drawing a quadrilateral doesn’t take as long as dragging a rectangle with a mouse. If you could draw, you could tell us all the dimensions on the spot. You have no sense of area at all – not even in a rough color plan. No grid, just a digital preliminary sketch that is then used without properties or dimensions. We obviously have no insight because of that. Everything is random. It’s like a teenager who can’t swim but thinks he can explain diving. Without dimensions, it’s just play. If this is how it’s going to be, then please have a professional take a look quickly!

You can already do quite a bit with the plan map from the development plan. You even specified the path width as a reference. The building line is already drawn in as well. He did write that he is a businessman.

: The plot can be quickly sketched on paper as well, but for me a program becomes more comfortable at the latest when planning floor plans from scratch, allowing walls to be moved with a click and immediately displaying changes in square meters. Both methods should be perfectly fine; everyone should use whatever benefits them most or feels easiest. Only the slopes and radii of the plot boundaries are difficult to implement well in the program, but that is also not very enjoyable on paper.

The harsh criticism surprises me a bit. I had provided size specifications and the white plan with a red border to indicate the crop. The plot is about 75 m wide, about 38 m at the street and about 28 m long at the back in the garden. Area approximately 2,600 m², north is always at the top on the plans. The building zone is about the right 50% of the plot minus the 3 m setback line; I had roughly estimated 40x35 m, it could possibly be only 35x30 m. What additional information do you still need?

We are lucky to have a very large plot where 50 cm does not matter. My question was not aimed at centimeter-precise placement, which would not yet be meaningful anyway, as the house sizes currently still fluctuate around +/- two meters, depending on the provider. For me, it is first about options for a sensible division of the large blocks house - garage - carport - terrace - outbuilding. I do think that ideas can be contributed with the information available. Moving the house to the left and upwards was one of them, which definitely helped me as a good suggestion. Rotating the garage by 90° is also an interesting idea that I will think about further. Meanwhile, I am also considering simply placing the outbuilding at the bottom left corner of the building zone to have more space in front. This high "flight altitude" is sufficient for us at the moment; it will hardly be possible to be more precise.

When the surveying and exact plans in good resolution are available, one can certainly be more precise and I will gladly provide all the information I have until then that someone needs to give a suggestion. I just do not recognize what sense of scale and what grid is supposed to be missing? All measurements I have were transferred to the program down to the centimeter, the computer sketch is to scale (except for the mentioned slopes and radii). Let me know where I need to provide additional information; I and we really appreciate every thought, every piece of experience from people who have already built, and all suggestions. If information is missing, please excuse it with inexperience; this is our first house.

Better to deliver a bit more than too little. For example, development plan. Also interesting in text form. I am already waiting for your floor plans. The program makes those quite easy. Which decision regarding the location have you come to? Or do you want to let an architect take a look first?

We have not been able to decide that yet; it will probably only be possible once the external dimensions of the house are finally determined. In the meantime, we will make sketches and think it over. The GUs all have an architectural meeting anyway, in which we would probably finalize it together.
