Taxation means to me that I have to pay money on the generated electricity, even though I could use it "for free" for my own consumption without having to buy any from the supplier. Then I would be taxing the self-generated electricity, that is, paying money on top and then paying twice because I still have to purchase some. I probably don't know enough about it. Maybe it makes sense here to have another conversation with the architect and energy consultant.
You have to see the whole thing as a company, since the photovoltaic system is operated as such. If you take something out of the company for private use, then it must be taxed.
A comparable example is the private use of a company car by an entrepreneur. If the entrepreneur uses the vehicle 70% for business and 30% privately according to the logbook, but deducts all costs and recovers the entire input VAT from the tax office, then the entrepreneur benefits from the vehicle privately. Therefore, he must tax the self-consumption to the extent of 30%.
