I thought with self-consumption, you have to pay 15ct/kWh instead of about 30ct/kWh, so a 15ct saving. That would be: 188*0.15 = 28€ Did I make a mistake there or did you just estimate? : ) Best regards

KFW for e.g. photovoltaics is only available from 100k€, e.g. at Deutsche Bank.

Those are numbers you can expect from a storage system, sounds good.

Why should you have to pay anything with self-consumption?
You lose the feed-in tariff, maybe that’s what you mean.

1. I did not have to buy the 188kWh (approx. €0.26).
2. In my case (no small business regulation), I have to pay 19% VAT on self-consumption for 5 years (using approx. €0.24/kWh as a basis) and permanently tax the self-consumption (at €0.11/kWh). I probably do not pay taxes due to exemption limits for this type of income.
Of course, I lose the feed-in tariff for the self-consumption.
Of the 50, 40 remain.

Thanks!

@others

How do you get the low interest rates if you didn’t mention KFW 270 right away when applying for the real estate financing and probably didn’t include it in the application? There are surely also people who decided on a photovoltaic system after or during the construction.

Yes, here. If you are not related to the branch manager of a bank, no one will grant a KFW270 loan under 50,000€. I did it through a private photovoltaic loan, there are various offers with acceptable interest rates and terms. But before focusing on the last decimal place of the interest rate, you should definitely get several offers from solar installers, the price differences can sometimes be quite significant.

Exactly, 2.x% over 10 years is quite realistic and does not make the payback period dramatically longer. More decisive is whether you have the system installed for €1700 or €1200/kWp.
