No, we’re not doing windows. They will be painted, fitted with new seals and adjusted. They are from 1981 (wood, double glazed)

Can anyone say something about the quality of these doors?

According to my father-in-law, there are actually only three to four producers in Germany for mass-produced interior doors, all of which are basically the same. The rest are resellers. So presumably, it will be just as good/bad as most other "well-known" ones. More important than the brand is the "grade," and hollow-core chipboard is the second from the bottom. But I have that too and have been satisfied so far.

By the way, Hori is purely a brand of Holz-Richter, and they are "only" wood dealers. Unfortunately, I don’t know who the actual producer is, but see above.

What do you mean by level? And which one do you have as well? This model Valencia?

Sorry, I mean the quality level of the filling. So honeycomb insert is the cheapest. Then comes tubular chipboard, although there are actually two different types, namely tubular chipboard ribs and tubular chipboard panels (ascending). Then there is solid chipboard and finally solid wood (nowadays unaffordable, but some also say that in terms of sound insulation it is even worse than solid chipboard). I meant, I also have tubular chipboard (panel) from Lebo (Lebolit-CPL). Even installed with Schwieva (let’s say he installed it, I just watched a bit more). They were all okay, once I knocked something off a door frame with a door leaf, so CPL is not super resistant either, but that would probably have happened with paint as well. In terms of sound, we don’t get much more through the door now than through the wall, but if you want to achieve that, you probably need soundproof doors (they also have a lip that drops down and seals the bottom gap of the door).

Okay, thanks! So whether lacquered or CPL is just design? What did you pay for the door and frame (and when)?
