Our floor plan - suggestions for improvement?

Yes, I think a pantry is a good idea and this one works for me, maybe I would consider a sliding door. But this is a matter of belief here whether or not to have a pantry. Decide for yourselves. I do agree with Dindin about the bar stools next to the dining table. Is there a basement included? Then the utility room wouldn't have to be that big.

So according to the development plan, you are not allowed to install openable windows on the upper floor facing the noise protection wall (and that is on the bay window side). Because of the noise protection.

[*]I would leave out the pantry. Allocate the space to the utility room (you will need it there) and rather put a storage shelf there. In the kitchen you can probably also fit two tall cabinets, in which you can store almost more than in your 40cm narrow shelves in your pantry.
[*]I am missing a proper wardrobe (60cm depth).
[*]I don't like it when the doors have different widths (88cm and 76cm). Our architect also planned a 76cm door for our guest WC, which we enlarged to 88cm. Often people don't think about it, so just a note.
[*]In my opinion, your bathroom is too narrow for a good T-layout. Search the forum for the L-layout for the bathroom (that's what we have).

But the orientation of your living room and terrace is in this direction. Is that intentional? Is it intentionally planned that there is no window on the ground floor facing north?
