I generally find your floor plan quite good. On the ground floor, everything already fits together quite well. The question, of course, is whether the kitchen island is sufficient for you, since you are simultaneously washing, cooking, and chopping there. Personally, in our new build, we will have a cooking island about 2.40m long and additionally a work surface about 3.20m long (including sink) with base cabinets.
I find the living room size completely adequate, and due to the divisions (cabinet wall music room/sideboards kitchen), the large room does not feel so uncomfortable. Also very good are the many wardrobe cabinets and the bright entrance area.
The upper floor is somewhat less fortunate. The cabinets outside the children's rooms are very impractical. I would definitely change that.
A second bathroom on the upper floor for the children I find good, and it is already arranged quite sensibly. I would personally still adapt the parents' bathroom. On the one hand, in my opinion, a T-solution is suboptimal here, and on the other hand, I would prefer, if I were you, that it was clearly assigned to the "parents’ area" and that you don’t have to walk through the "public" hallway first to get to your bathroom.
Whether you still need the room and the roof terrace on the second floor?!? Well, you have to decide that, and it obviously depends on your budget/wishes. Since you also still have the basement, I personally find that a bit oversized or would find it more sensible to enlarge the children’s rooms and possibly swap the bedroom with the study. Then the bathroom would theoretically have to move upstairs as well, and the floor would have to be even bigger. No idea if your development plan allows that or if it really makes sense.
Views of your house would definitely be interesting as well.
