I like the closets in the children's rooms! That's something nice, copied from the Americans: no stupid cabinets that are always in the way or bursting. Not only clothes fit in such a closet, toys can go in there too. The rest of the room can be better structured with reduced furnishings. I also don't like the hallway through the utility room - the kitchen then feels like a maid's workplace (kusch, geh nach hinten in Deine Ecke )

Regarding the upper floor: The "chambers" in the children's rooms are meant to prevent the otherwise narrow rooms from being further cramped by wardrobes, but it should then be planned as fully furnished because this also reduces flexibility. Otherwise, the upper floor is okay.

The basement is not very successful, the paths are impractical, and the living room is an uncomfortable passage room.

The view is still too cluttered. Since quite a few changes still need to be made, this can be taken care of then.

Hello,

we had said that we want an open area, but do not want to see the "dirty dishes" from the sofa. I find the kitchen a bit narrow and we would also like a kitchen island.

Does it maybe make sense to enlarge the house by 50cm on the kitchen side, then the master wing upstairs would also be a bit bigger and the kitchen would have a bit more space.

Best regards, Barossi

I've been in the USA for extended periods a few times and have experienced the chambers live... they simply turn into dumps (better attics with toys from the last 10 years) although of course there may be parents who can drill their children into consistent tidiness. Do you know the series Friends? There's also such a chamber there ;-)

Hello,
we will "reflect on it again". After some consideration, we don't think the chambers are bad.

Best regards, Barossi

Swap the kitchen and utility room with the guest room! You just have to give up some space from the living area, but you'll gain it back upstairs.
