I like the upper floor, but I can't deal with the ground floor at all.
The kitchen is squeezed into the last corner of the house and has absolutely no importance.
The living room and utility room are too prominent (as they were before).
Why again is the annex separated from the house?
If you want to have peace, you first have to leave the house to get to the annex???
Hello Yvonne,
there are at least 3 reasons for the annex:
-in a music room it usually gets loud, so to avoid disturbing possibly sleeping family members, it is separated from the house
-I work from home, and with small children in the family, working from home is hardly possible unless you also move that area somewhat out of the house
-we might want to use the outsourced area differently later; care for parents, separate area for children, possibly renting it out

About the kitchen, it also gives us the most headaches. We find the orientation to the east with a deep view into the very large garden very, very beautiful...
In our opinion, the "family entrance" will anyway be the utility room, so the kitchen will then be very close to the action.
