Opinions on the floor plan of a single-family house in Münsterland

@lastrop Everyday entrance for children with dirty shoes. Groceries directly from the car into the house (experience shows that most cars are not parked in but in front of the garage)

Honestly, I don't know of any house that has an airlock that leads BEFORE the garage. If anything, it leads into the garage.

My children come into the house through the front door anyway ...

@lastrop I can give you plenty of counterexamples It is probably regionally influenced, at least around here many people have their lock IN FRONT OF the garage.

I don't need an "airlock" either, after all, as the owner and resident I want the entrance to look nice - and not have to use a shabby side entrance myself. However, this is not about planning around the side entrance as is often the case when the focus is on the second entrance (primarily through the garage), but simply about planning an exterior door to the utility room. Whether it is finally used as the parents imagine... pfffh.

So, we have incorporated a few more things.

Office a little bigger
Shower on the ground floor
Bedroom slightly smaller, but bathroom slightly bigger
Recess for terrace is now living space



We still have some construction concerns about how it looks when you look directly at the stairs going up from the entrance. Unfortunately, a angled staircase takes up a bit of space in the already narrow hallway!
