Actually, I am not someone who necessarily advises starting from scratch when it comes to floor plans. But what you have cobbled together there, in my opinion, just doesn’t work at all. And actually, everything has already been said. In my opinion, you are also setting the priorities wrong.
Bathroom at the "chocolate cream corner" of the terrace so you can quickly go to the loo? Garage facing south so you don’t have to shovel so much snow? But at least a kids’ room facing north? What is more important to you? – For me, it would definitely be the well-being of my children. In case of doubt, I just have to shovel the snow three times a year more.
Regarding the children’s rooms, I agree with the others. They are nothing more than sleeping niches. Actually, they are “holes.” The square meters don’t matter that much. A well-laid-out 11 or 12 sqm room can certainly have a higher living value than a badly laid-out 15 or 18 sqm children’s room. But in your case, you get both. The size is simply too small and, on top of that, the rooms are badly laid out. At least one of the children can’t even sit properly at the desk, let alone have any hobbies that require any equipment (musical instruments, etc.). And apparently, friends of the children are not welcome either.
Most of what has been said about the walk-in closets has already been said. Take a look at these. A walk-in closet with 4! doors, you might as well forget it and put the wardrobe in the bedroom. Regarding the second children’s walk-in closet, I agree with Yvonne.
Please don’t try to sugarcoat the floor plan. If you want to build it like that, be my guest. But think carefully about what is important to you and your family and where you set your priorities. Why does it have to be a (wing) bungalow?
