hello everyone,
I have a question about the regulations for the construction of a new home for personal use.
We are a 2-person household (daughter and mom, so both of the same gender).
Does our home absolutely have to have 2 separate bedrooms, or is it enough if we have one room (at least 10m²) as a child's room, living/bedroom + kitchen, bathroom, utility room?
Can I, for example, designate a technical room (at least 10m²) as the second room???
With public funds, an inspector or something is supposed to come and approve the residence (after move-in registration or something)... then they will notice that my room is not a living room...
Is there still an approval???
How does the whole process of approval from the city work? What do they pay special attention to???
The background for me is...
due to slightly increased interest rates, my income is no longer sufficient, so I was advised to plan a small "granny flat" for which I can then receive "rent," which will then be credited as income security for me...
I have already found a suitable floor plan, but it would be awkward to set up a temporary wall (to designate a second bedroom downstairs), which would have to be removed after approval... especially since the house must be move-in ready for approval, i.e. painting, etc. finished...
I know, it's complicated... but
has anyone had experience with this or can give me advice???
