Good day everyone,
a short report from my side. After 2 years of reading and researching, I was able to convince my wife that we should go for smart home for the new build, otherwise we would be building a house in 2021 with technology from 1980 - it worked :)
We are building a single-family house in K and the general contractor only offered smart home components upon request. Thank God, the general contractor works with an electrician who is not contractually bound to any manufacturer, so for cost reasons (28K) we were offered a system from Busch Jäger. However, since the look/feel did not fit, we switched to KNX and selected the manufacturer Jung.
In advance, my electrician shared that so far only about 30% of all new builds are equipped with smart home because the costs initially discourage and the benefit is not seen. We had this trade has removed from the general contractor for about 10K and are now working with the electrician, who would have done the electrical work anyway.
I primarily want to control only lighting/blinds/heating/ventilation/door system/alarm system via smartphone/iPad.
Scenes etc. have deliberately been omitted for now.
For 145 sqm, the offer is 37K and includes:
Jung room controllers (number currently unknown to me)
77 sockets
10 outdoor lights
3 outdoor cameras
5 presence detectors
7 step lights
1 line to the garden for the pool
1 line in the garage for the electric car
1 empty conduit for a possible photovoltaic system
5 empty conduits for TV
5 LAN connections
1 alarm system
1 x GIRA 106 door intercom system
31 x spots
I am happy to answer any further questions.
